Refund & Replacement Policy

Custom-Made Products

Every TeslaFX USB drive is built to order based on your specific selections. Because each drive is custom-manufactured to your specifications, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind after production has begun.

We encourage you to use the preview features in our builder to review your selections carefully before placing your order.

We Will Replace Your Drive For Free If:

• The drive is not recognized by your Tesla (after troubleshooting)
• One or more of your selected shows or sounds is missing or incorrect
• The drive fails to function within 90 days of delivery
• The drive was damaged in shipping
• The wrong item was sent

To request a replacement, contact us with your order number, your Tesla model and software version, and a description of the issue. We typically respond within 1 business day and will ship your replacement promptly.

Before Requesting a Replacement

Many issues can be resolved quickly. Please check our FAQ and try the following:

• Confirm you are using the front center console USB-A port, not the glovebox or a USB-C port
• Try reinserting the drive and waiting 15 seconds
• Reboot your touchscreen (hold both scroll wheels until the screen restarts) and reinsert
• Confirm your Tesla software is v2022.x or later
• Ensure the drive has not been plugged into a Sentry Mode port (this will reformat it)

What Is Not Covered

• Drives that were reformatted by Tesla's Sentry Mode / dashcam feature
• Physical damage caused by misuse, dropping, or bending the drive
• Change of mind after production has begun
• Incompatibility with Cybertruck (currently unsupported — noted on our site)
• Issues caused by Tesla software versions older than 2022.x

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order for a full refund if you contact us before production begins. Because we build drives quickly, please reach out as soon as possible after placing your order. Once a drive has been built, cancellation is no longer possible.

Incorrect Selections

If you made an error in your show or sound selection and contact us before production begins, we will update your order at no charge. Once built, a new drive can be ordered at standard pricing.

USB Extender Cable

The USB Extender Cable is eligible for return within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Contact us to arrange a return.
